History of Educational Television in American Samoa
ETV History
Thank you, Kathy, for collecting and writing all this information. I have done my best to assemble all the pieces of the report, rework all the graphics and retype the text from the annual reports. Now, we have a pretty good timeline of events relative to the concept, building and operation of the ETV system. There is more work to be done and it is my hope that other members of the founding and operations team will join us in filling in more blanks. The real story might be the wonderful dedication of the ETV people and fond memories of their time in American Samoa. It is more than 50 years since the project started and many of those involved still share great stories and consider their time in American Samoa "the good old days".
