SPECTATORS
The 10th Festival of Pacific Arts is open to the international public. However, all non-delegates make their own travel, transport, accommodation, and meal arrangements.
TRANSPORTATION
Local transportation include taxi cabs, car rentals and aiga (family) buses.
GETTING HERE
There are two direct weekly flights (Thursdays and Sundays) from Honolulu, Hawaii to American Samoa. There are also flights to/from Apia (at least 3 times a day) through PolyBlue, InterIslands Vacation and South Pacific Express (small commuter planes).
Visas are not required by most visitors for entry, however a permit, passport and onward plane ticket are mandatory.
ENTRY AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
All persons regardless of nationality may enter American Samoa through the Pago Pago International Airport or the seaport. An entry visa should be obtained prior to departure of originating location. Entry permits are $40 (USD). Conditions may apply. Customs check is mandatory.

A home-stay program is being developed and will be announced soon. All homes will be inspected and approved by the Festival Organizers.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Although each delegate is reponsible for travel/accident/dealth/health insurance, services are available onisland at the Lyndon B. Johnson Tropical Medical Center. Dispensaries will be available at or near each participants' residence.

American Samoa is serviced by 3 Internet Service Providers. Several hotels are equiped with Internet access through Blue Sky Communications, ASTCA and Pacifica IT.
